Testimonials
"As Editing and Production Intern with Vintage TV, I was given the opportunity to edit promos for broadcast and other platforms, as well as help out as a Production Assistant and Sound Recordist on filming shoots. I had a really great time both in the office and on set. The team is lovely and it's a fun and friendly place to work. I even got the chance to meet a childhood hero - Pat Sharp! I thoroughly enjoyed it." - Peter Green, 2 ½ months
"I have recently completed a Production and Administrative Internship at Vintage TV. While there I was able to get involved in a wide variety of roles – working as part of the editing and scheduling department, recording sound, running for a host of their original programming and helping out with administrative duties. This has been a fantastic opportunity for me to gain experience with a fast-rising media company and I have been afforded a level of responsibility I would not have been given in a larger organisation. The team are very friendly and encourage you to work in a variety of areas. I urge anyone looking to get into media to apply for an internship here." - Nic McQuillan, 2 months
"Working for Vintage TV has allowed me to gain experience in various aspects of the television industry. In the last month I have had the opportunity to work as a runner on set at several filming sessions, including the remake of Mike Read's Pop Quiz panel show. I've also worked in the office writing press releases, sourcing videos and images and creating playlists. I have also assisted to launch Vintage TV’s online shop which required me to manage the stock and research postage and packaging costs. Vintage TV's internship is a great opportunity for anyone who is working towards a career in the television industry and is looking for hands on experience. Everyone here has been incredibly friendly and they have been a great team to work with." - Olivia Thornton, 1 ½ months
"I've just completed a month's Production and Administrative Internship at Vintage TV and although I wasn't there for a long time, I learnt a great deal. Not only did I improve on my basic administrative skills, I learnt about research, marketing, editing and gained an understanding of the full production process (initial concept to finished programme). This included attending various filming shoots where I helped to create the set, greet artists and even operate a camera. This experience was not only extremely enjoyable, it also helped me get a job with another production company. Since completing the internship I have returned to Vintage TV several times to help out at the shoots. I would recommend a Vintage TV internship to anyone interested in a career in television." - Lily Knight, 1 ½ months
